The Daughter of Imani program is a mentoring and rites of passage program for middle and high school young women. The goals of the Daughters of Imani Rites of Passage are to help bolster
self-esteem; encourage peer, family, and community interactions; explore
career development; and address topics that impact the survival of the
21st-century African American female.
Daughters of Imani II expands on the Rites of Passage Program. The participants explore how to live as a Christian young lady. They complete several lessons and engage in several church and community projects that enhance the discovery of self. Daughters of Imani II meet every 1st and 3rd Friday in 2011. New members are always welcome. Directors: Rev. Richelle White and Martha Williams |
